About this cartoon: In one Republican-controlled state after another, new and more mean-spirited restrictions on abortions -- or in some cases even the hint of abortion being a possibility -- are being enacted by overwhelmingly male, white legislators. Some aren't even pretending anymore that it's about the "health of the woman"; they just want the now-more-conservative U.S. Supreme Court to overturn Roe v. Wade.
